M&E Design Manager [ ACMV / Fire Protection]

Location: Aljunied
Basic Salary: $6000 - $7000

Responsibilities:

• Lead design and approval of ACMV and Fire Protection systems for various projects.
• Develop technical specs, drawings, and calculations for HVAC, fire protection, and suppression systems.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations and project requirements.
• Optimize designs for energy efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and sustainability.
• Collaborate with consultants, architects, and contractors for project execution.
• Conduct technical reviews and risk assessments for ACMV and fire protection designs.
• Resolve design conflicts and site constraints.
• Oversee submission approvals to relevant authorities.
• Assist in vendor selection and support value engineering to meet project budgets.

Requirements:

• Problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, BIM (Revit MEP), CFD Analysis, and HVAC design software.
• Familiarity with local codes and international standards (BCA, SCDF, NFPA, ASHRAE, SS CP)
