M&E Manager

Job Description:

1. Project Management on all company projects in M&E services design, cost, technical and authority matters.
2. Supervise and provide guidance to M&E Engineers & Inspector of Works.
3. Manage sub-con/in progress production planning & build.
4. Assess M&E contractors' progress and variation order claims.
5. Review M&E feasibility studies and cost plan from design stage to tender stage.
6. Review consultants’ design for compliance with company design requirements on various types of buildings.
7. Value engineering on design proposals to optimise the cost and ensure best practices are applied in the projects.
8. Keep track of variation and claims of contract and cost impact, report information to Project Manager.
9. Work with QAQC Engineer to ensure quality performance of project to meet client requirements.
10. Monitor M&E services variation works and costs during the construction stage to ensure they remain within budget.
11. Attend client consultant meetings & involve in pre-tender estimation and tender process for award of Contractors.
12. Attend meetings with authorities & coordinate between Consultants and Contractors on-site.

Job Requirements:

1. Minimum a recognized Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical/Construction Engineering or other building-related disciplines.
2. At least 5-10 years of working experience in building and construction projects.
3. Working knowledge in BIM model software.
4. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
5. Able to lead teams and work across different levels including managing vendors.
