• Saturday: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM

Job Responsibilities:

• Fulfill ship repair jobs afloat or in the shipyard.
• Carry out maintenance, service, and repair of all mechanical equipment (Diesel Engines, pumps, gearboxes, couplings, alternators, hydraulic systems, deck machinery, etc.) on board all assigned vessels.
• Troubleshoot all mechanical equipment on board vessels.
• Perform engine equipment removal, reinstallation, servicing, repair, reconditioning, and commissioning activities.
• Ensure adequate maintenance of tools and equipment, and cleanliness in the workshop.
• Manage the team and deliver ship/shipyard schedules as required.
• Carry out retrofit jobs for new equipment installation on board vessels.
• Participate in VSCC meetings, permit to work systems, and ensure trade certificates are in place.
• Manage workforce and jobs, write job completion reports, submit cost evaluations, liaise with owners' representatives, and follow company SOPs.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by the ship repair manager and management.

Job Requirements:

• Diploma/Certificate in Marine Engineering or equivalent.
• At least 3 years of relevant working experience.
• Able to read drawings and write service reports.
