What the role is
MANAGER/DEPUTY MANAGER, DATA SUPPLY (FARES)

What you will be working on
You will lead a team and be responsible for the management of data for planning, developing, and gathering high-quality data supply for the fare systems, LTA web portal, and mobile apps.

In addition, you will have the opportunity to work with new emerging technologies in the public transport bus domain.

For this role, we are looking for a candidate who is willing to learn and grow in the role and is passionate about working in the public transport domain.

Your responsibilities include:

• Plan and develop business processes and standard operating procedures to ensure that the required data for the LTA transport portal is fit-for-purpose.
• Liaise with Public Transport Operators (PTOs) and internal/external stakeholders on matters relating to fare charging at the front-end devices on public buses.
• Oversee and lead investigations relating to data configuration of systems.
• Generate statistical data and perform analysis from the bus fare system for reporting purposes.
• Handle data sharing requests within and across organizations.
• Organize and work with your team to handle operational challenges that may arise.

What we are looking for

• Preferably knowledge in engineering, statistics, data management, or IT-related fields.
• Experience and good working knowledge of bus fare systems will be an advantage.
• Experience in data analytics will be an advantage.
• Proficient in the use of MS Office (i.e., Word and Excel) and keen to develop skills.
• Good presentation, interpersonal, and writing skills.
• Analytical with a mind towards problem-solving.
