Our client, a Main contractor, has an opportunity for a Winner to join the Team as a Logistics Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee logistics operations for construction projects, including transportation, fleet coordination, and material distribution.
- Plan and manage timely deliveries of materials, equipment, and supplies to construction sites.
- Maintain effective communication with suppliers, vendors, and internal teams to ensure seamless logistics operations.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate stock management to prevent shortages or excess supply.
- Assess logistics performance and implement strategies to enhance efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Ensure adherence to health, safety, and regulatory guidelines related to logistics.
- Maintain accurate records and prepare reports on logistics activities.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience in a logistics role within the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of logistics operations, best practices, and supply chain management.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills with the ability to multitask.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in logistics software and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage tight deadlines.
- Strong problem-solving skills and keen attention to detail.
- Familiarity with safety and regulatory requirements in logistics.
- Adaptability to changing priorities and project demands.
OTHER INFORMATION:
- Location: South
- Working hours: Monday - Friday
- Salary: up to S$7,000 and Bonus (Salary will commensurate according to experience & qualifications)
