LOGISTICS MANAGER

Job Responsibilities:

1. Manage the major baggage handling machines and equipment delivery, receiving and inventory controls.
2. Monthly and weekly reporting comprising analysis of expenditure on materials delivery to the Project Director and/or Project Manager.
3. Implement & monitor spare parts management processes and procedures.
4. Ensure cleanliness and optimum space management within the warehouse and the project site.
5. Develop and implement improvements in procedures, inclusive of safety within the warehouse and the project site.
6. Supervise warehouse staff, ensuring their compliance with procedures and processes, and all QA/QC and HSE regulatory requirements.
7. Manage upkeep and movement of company vehicles.
8. Ensure accuracy and timely updates of records in the Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
9. Conduct regular physical counts of items in the warehouse to reconcile with CMMS data.

Requirements:

1. Diploma or bachelor's degree in supply chain management / Warehouse Management.
2. Knowledge of applicable safety procedures, equipment maintenance, and warehouse best practices.
3. Class 3 driving licence will be beneficial.
4. Able to respond to emergency situations at short notice.
5. Good communication skills in English.
6. Good leadership and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to develop a team.
7. Previous experience of at least 3 years in a managerial/supervisory role in a warehouse/store setting.
