Logistics Investment Manager

We are currently working with a Global Real Estate Firm who is seeking a manager for their logistics investment department. The manager will be involved in the REIT's investment and divestment activities as well as redevelopment projects.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Develop and execute investment and divestment strategies, focusing on business opportunities within the Asia Pacific region.
2. Identify and pursue potential investments, including asset and company acquisitions, while also managing the divestment of identified assets.
3. Structure and negotiate the closure of investment and divestment deals.
4. Enhance the growth of the real estate portfolio by fostering relationships and supporting the initiation of new investments and business ventures.
5. Oversee the entire investment and divestment process, including deal origination, research, evaluation, structuring, financial analysis, financial modelling, negotiation, and execution.
6. Conduct thorough analyses of market trends, industry conditions, competitor activities, business models, and financial metrics.
7. Perform commercial and financial due diligence.
8. Prepare investment committee papers to present opportunities to the board and investment committee.
9. Create management reports and board materials for presentation to the board and investment committee.
10. Monitor portfolio performance and provide regular updates to the investment committee.
11. Lead and manage the redevelopment of existing assets to enhance revenue.
12. Coordinate and oversee the annual valuation exercise for the entire portfolio.

Requirements:

1. Degree in Engineering, Building, Real Estate, Business, Finance, or a related field.
2. Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in regional real estate investments.
3. Strong analytical skills and proficiency in financial modelling are crucial.
4. Knowledge of financial products, business development, or development management experience, with a focus on logistics properties investment being advantageous.
5. Ability to work effectively in a team, demonstrate initiative, possess strong business and financial acumen, and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
