Logistics Executive (S2/S3)

Our esteemed client, an established MNC, is searching for a Logistics Executive:

Job Responsibilities:

1. Coordinate shipments with transportation providers, freight forwarders, and third-party logistics partners to ensure high-quality, timely delivery.
2. Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to secure timely deliveries and achieve operational KPIs.
3. Provide regular status updates on domestic and international shipments to support internal teams and external customers.
4. Collaborate with finance, business partners, freight forwarders, and third-party logistics providers for accurate shipment arrangements, documentation, cargo release, and final deliveries.
5. Work closely with freight and ocean forwarders to schedule shipments, track status, and ensure timely delivery.
6. Collect, analyze, and report logistics data; collaborate with stakeholders to improve metrics and KPIs for efficient logistics management.
7. Conduct monthly analyses of shipping data and present findings to management for informed decision-making.
8. Perform trend analysis to identify needed corrective actions and drive implementation of improvements based on findings.
9. Participate in initiatives aimed at enhancing daily logistics operations.
10. Manage the freight bidding process by preparing RFQs, analyzing bids from carriers/providers, negotiating rates, and selecting cost-effective transportation solutions.
11. Lead logistics project activities through Business Process Reengineering (BPR) initiatives to achieve organizational goals in collaboration with logistics project teams.
12. Facilitate collaborative logistics activities by coordinating meetings among regional factories to promote information sharing, process improvement, and innovation.
13. Drive a culture of continuous improvement in logistics practices across factory locations in Asia while encouraging creativity.
14. Ensure accuracy of product HS Codes and tariff descriptions by referencing Japan's HS codes; collaborate with Sales and Regional management for updates or changes.
15. Monitor compliance with regulatory requirements related to shipping practices.

Job Requirements:

1. Min Diploma or degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
2. Min 2-3 years in logistics or supply chain, ideally within the manufacturing sector.
3. Ability to analyze logistics data for informed decision-making.
4. Experience in negotiating rates with carriers and service providers.
5. Knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, and Word is required.
6. Knowledge of DX/BPR/RPA Systems: Familiarity with these systems is advantageous.
7. Understanding of Regulatory Requirements: Knowledge of customs regulations, shipping laws, and compliance standards relevant to logistics.

1. Salary: Up to SGD 4,300 +AWS +VB (Around 2 Months)
