Logistics Executive (Japan MNC/ Export & Import)

Responsibilities:

• Order Processing to respective factories based on Purchase Orders received.
• Prepare and handle commercial documentation like invoices, delivery orders, shipping documents, etc.
• Liaise with external vendors like freight forwarders, 3rd party logistics, delivery contractors, etc.
• Liaise with respective factories to arrange shipments promptly.
• Negotiate rates with freight forwarders to optimize delivery load and cost.
• Monitor both inbound and outbound shipments/freights from overseas and local suppliers.
• Ensure and update shipping costs of both inbound and outbound shipments as per quotations.
• Act upon receiving shipping instructions.
• Update sales records after each shipment.
• Any other duties that are assigned within the course of work.

Requirements:

• Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Logistics Management, or related field.
• 2-3 years of working experience in logistics operations.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Focus on understanding and delivering value to external and/or internal customers.
• Ability to identify priority tasks, anticipate implications, and take appropriate action with minimal supervision.
• Meticulous and pays attention to details to ensure minimum errors in work.
• A good team player but capable of working on own initiative.
• Detail-oriented and able to multi-task.
• Computer literate and proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Bilingual in English and Mandarin.
