Logistics Executive

About the role

This full-time Logistics Executive role located in the Jurong East West Region is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team in the manufacturing, transport and logistics industry. As a Logistics Executive, you will be responsible for overseeing the smooth import and export operations, ensuring efficient customs clearance and adherence to regulatory requirements.

What you'll be doing

1. Coordinate and manage the end-to-end logistics operations, including freight forwarding, customs clearance and inventory management
2. Liaise with overseas suppliers, freight forwarders and customs authorities to ensure timely and compliant delivery of goods
3. Prepare documentation and maintain accurate records for all import and export activities
4. Proactively identify and resolve any logistical issues or bottlenecks
5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimise logistics processes and drive continuous improvement
6. Ensure compliance with relevant import/export regulations and company policies
7. 5 working days per week

What we're looking for

1. Relevant degree or diploma in logistics, supply chain management or a related field
2. At least 1 year of experience in a similar logistics or import/export role, preferably in the manufacturing or trading industry
3. Strong understanding of import/export procedures, customs regulations and documentation requirements
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with internal and external stakeholders
5. Proficient in using logistics management software and Microsoft Office applications
6. Ability to work independently, prioritise tasks and meet deadlines
7. Detail-oriented with a proactive and problem-solving mindset
