Job Description:

Logistics Management

• Report to the Plant Manager, the incumbent supervises and oversees all aspects of stores, warehousing, goods inwards, dangerous goods management, and logistics such as shipment documentation.
• Responsible for managing a team of stores and logistics personnel in a warehouse and distribution area within the site facility to meet logistic KPI.
• Organize and execute key projects, managing within budgets and expenditures.
• Lead quarterly business reviews with freight forwarders and last-mile delivery providers. Assess freight forwarder performance using scorecards and drive improvement plans.
• Support the team's day-to-day tasks and drive lean improvement plans for the department to ensure that logistics operations flow efficiently at all times.
• Conduct quarterly freight rate cost assessments and provide business recommendations to achieve cost savings.
• Support audits to ensure freight and last-mile delivery documentation complies with WSS standards.
• Monitor and report KPIs to management monthly.
• Any other duties as assigned.

Trade Compliance

• Maintain policies and procedures, including trade compliance, export control, and internal controls, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements.
• Monitor internal compliance controls, conduct regular reviews, and provide recommendations for improvements to prevent policy violations and ensure effective risk management.
• Oversee and manage Global Trade Services on product classification such as ECCN and HS Code.
• Assist with statutory audits, regulatory inspections, and other external assessments to ensure compliance.

Job Requirements

• 5 – 10 years of experience in the logistics function with at least 3 years in an aerospace components company, with experience in managing trade compliance, export control, and internal controls and regulatory requirements.
• Degree in supply chain, business management, or related fields.
• Knowledge of SAP.
• Track record in managing complex logistics operations with strong trade compliance control.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with suppliers, customers, and internal teams.
