Summary

The Logistics Supervisor plays a pivotal role in ensuring efficient and effective management of the logistics operations. This position involves overseeing the coordination of transportation, distribution, and warehousing activities to optimize processes, minimize costs, and enhance customer satisfaction. The Logistics Supervisor will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to uphold the highest standards of operational excellence.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform daily warehouse duties including inbound (loading/unloading container), outbound (pick/pack), materials handling.
• Ensure warehouse operations are running smoothly and efficiently.
• Ensure safety, cleanliness, and tidiness of the department.
• Ensure all orders are picked and completed on the same day without any spillover/backlog.
• Ensure that customer orders are processed promptly and accurately to support daily warehouse operations.
• Any other ad hoc duties assigned by the Logistics Manager.

Job Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least O level / Diploma.
• At least 2 to 3 years of working experience in the related field.
• Relevant supervising experience, leading a team of at least 5 warehouse assistants.
• Basic knowledge of warehouse operations and IT skills.
• Good leadership and decision-making skills.
• Candidates with a forklift license/operating a reach truck will have an added advantage.
