Logistic Coordinator (GOOD COMPANY!) -Up to $3500+ AWS + OT | WEST

• Position: Logistic Coordinator
• Location: West (Tuas - transport provided from Tuas Link MRT)
• Working hours: 5 days, Mon to Fri (8.30am to 5.30pm)
• Salary (commensurate on experience): Up to $3500 + AWS + Variable Bonus + OT
• Duration: Permanent
• Industry: Marine Manufacturer

Main Responsibilities:

• Communicate and liaise with sales support on the confirm sales order delivery date and address.
• Obtain quotation from forwarder agent on the freight cost and transit time for sales support or customer.
• Advise on the readiness of the order available for local delivery order/export/direct delivery to port terminal/wharf to sales support.
• Assist to arrange with forwarder transportation on delivery or export shipment.
• Check inventory availability for sales support coordinator.
• Support the sales team in providing product sample or picture as required by their customer/distributor.
• Assist and support the sales team on urgent shipment due to last minute requests from customer/distributor.
• Communicate and liaise with storekeepers on the required deadline of the pick ticket order required by customer.
• Ensure the deadline is met and all stocks are available with correct items.
• Upon receipt of the scan pick tickets, ensure the product serial numbers are inserted in EQ order and captured in Navision.
• Ensure customer PO numbers are printed on the Delivery Order and delivery routing.
• Prepare the shipping documents (PI/PL) for export shipments & provide shipping marks to warehouse for labelling.
• Arrange fumigation vendor for wooden pallets to be exported to countries requiring fumigation certificate.
• Verify transporter invoices to ensure no overbilling before sending to accounts department for payment processing.
• Ensure all orders have been posted out from Navision to generate the Delivery Order.
• Work closely with forwarder agent and maintain good rapport to obtain the best rate and service from the forwarder.
• Work closely with storekeepers and build good relationships to work as a team.
• Provide full support to purchasers, admin, and accounts if assistance is required.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in logistics, material planning, or coordination roles.
• Minimum 'O' levels or Diploma in Logistics or Business Administration.
• Bilingual in English and Mandarin to converse with associates who can only speak Mandarin.
