Summary

The Logistics Assistant plays a crucial support role within the logistics team, contributing to the smooth execution of transportation, distribution, and warehousing activities. This position involves providing administrative assistance, coordinating shipments, maintaining records, and ensuring compliance with established processes. The Logistics Assistant collaborates closely with team members to ensure efficient operations and uphold high standards of operational excellence.

Job Responsibilities

1. Perform daily warehouse duties including inbound (loading/unloading container), outbound (pick/pack), and materials handling.
2. Ensure all orders are picked and completed on the same day without any spillover/backlog.
3. Conduct weekly cycle counts.
4. Ensure that customer orders are processed promptly and accurately to support daily warehouse operations.
5. Carry out housekeeping to ensure the workplace is safe and tidy.
6. Perform any other ad hoc duties assigned by the Logistics Manager.

Job Requirements

1. At least 2 to 3 years of working experience in the related field.
2. Candidates with a forklift license or experience operating a reach truck will have an added advantage.
