Locum/Perm Phlebotomist – start immediate

Job Description:

1. Collect blood samples from patients
2. Practice proper patient identification, especially when working on hospital floors
3. Label vials with patient names and dates
4. Decipher the best method for drawing blood depending on the specific patient
5. Transport all specimen samples to a nearby laboratory
6. Centrifuge blood samples
7. Practice infection control standards

Requirements:

1. Min Diploma in any discipline
2. Min Certificate in Phlebotomy
3. Able to start work within short notice
4. For locum- able to work minimally 3 days a week
