Locum Medical Doctor

Job Description / Job Responsibilities

1. Provide acute and chronic care consultations and treatments for all patients.
2. Conduct health screenings and reviews.
3. Perform minor procedures and treatments; may also be able to perform intricate surgeries for SP doctors.
4. Maintain high standards of care duties.
5. Ensure timely delivery of patient care duties.
6. Perform diagnosis and prescribing of medication according to patient conditions.
7. Provide referral to patients if specialist check-ups are required.
8. Ensure timely follow up with patients’ conditions and perform return visits when required.
9. Ensure up-to-date clinical knowledge.
10. Participate in outreach and health promotion programs.
11. Provide teleconsultation as well.

Requirements:

1. Recognized medical degree by Singapore Medical Council.
2. Full registration with SMC.
3. Possess at least 3 years of past housemanship working experience as a medical officer/surgeon (or equivalent) in the relevant discipline.
4. In active clinical practice.
5. Good oral and written communication skills.
6. Strong interpersonal communication skills and a good team player.
