Lifting Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Attend/conduct daily toolbox briefings, weekly briefings, and participate in PSCC meetings.
• Responsible for day-to-day activities on the project supervision and ensure assigned jobs are carried out effectively and productively in order to meet project deadlines.
• Ensure safety regulations and requirements are being complied with on site.
• Organize, coordinate, and lead to ensure that all lifting activities are carried out safely.
• Conduct Risk Assessments with the project team and client before major or complex lifts and ensure documentation is filed accordingly.
• Inspect/audit lifting accessories to ensure condition, validity, and colour coding are updated accordingly.
• Check and educate riggers and signal men, if necessary, in toolbox meetings or on-site with the proper lifting procedures.

Requirements

• A pass in Shipyard Supervisor Safety Course and attendance at a risk management course.
• 3-5 years of relevant working experience in the construction of offshore platform industry.
• Knowledge in Lifting and Rigging / Good understanding of Lifting and C.G of items.
• Must be a team player and be able to work closely with other discipline supervisors.
