They will learn key business financing solutions e.g., unsecured and secured loans, trade financing to help SMEs ease their cash flow and finance their business at various growth stages.
This is a multi-product hunter role which requires the individual to be comfortable with daily outbound prospecting. He/she is responsible for outbound acquisition via phone calls and campaigns as well as introducing to customers the appropriate products and services that meet their needs.

What you do

1. Solicit new business loan opportunities through active acquisition of loans and trade finance (secured and unsecured).
2. Comfortable with outbound acquisition via phone calls to bring in new customers for the bank and deepen the relationship with existing customers.
3. Understand the business life cycle of small businesses to help them expand their reach and provide suitable financial solutions to support their growth.
4. Demonstrate good credit acumen with the ability to mitigate financing risk to ensure the robustness of our credit portfolio.
5. Strong cross-team collaborations with internal and external stakeholders to nurture and grow new business and partnership opportunities.

Emerging Business serves and supports customers ranging from passionate entrepreneurs to small and mid-sized enterprises with a full range of commercial banking products and services. The Lending Solutions teams work closely with product partners, credit risk, compliance, and various support functions to ensure the best outcome for both internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications
Who you are

1. Degree holder, with min. 1-2 years of credit and sales experience in the banking industry, covering local SMEs is preferred.
2. Fervent individual who is self-driven and possesses the willingness to take on additional initiatives to drive the overall business strategy.
3. Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with customers.
4. Sound analytical skills with the ability to interpret and analyze company financials.
5. Passionate individual who is innovative and enjoys a dynamic work environment.
