Job description

As an Emergency Response Triage Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in protecting our global community by tackling sensitive content and assessing risk in livestream escalations.

Responsibilities:

  1. Immediate assessment and review of Emergency & Child Safety Livestream content that poses an extreme risk of serious injury or death to a user and/or child abuse or exploitation.
  2. Extensive knowledge across relevant policies to enable swift decision making adhering to robust SLA's.
  3. Reviewing content, posts, comments, and user profiles while assessing the escalation in line with a risk assessment matrix.
  4. Record relevant notes and decisions in line with policies and SOP's.
  5. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to drive improvements to policies and processes.
  6. The ability to work with sensitive issues that include suicide content, child exploitation, a variety of religious and political views, violence, and adult content.
  7. Drive and participate in key projects across Trust and Safety.
  8. This role requires you to work permanent full weekend coverage and public holidays due to the necessity of 24/7 coverage during normal office hours.

Minimum Qualifications

  1. Fluency in English (written and verbal communication).
  2. 1-2 years of experience in Trust Safety, Law Enforcement/Government agencies.
  3. Experience with handling and viewing distressing and sensitive content.
  4. Ability to perform duties objectively, devoid of inherent biases or personal beliefs.
  5. Experience in assessing risk and the ability to think critically and make quick decisions.
  6. Experience working independently with sound judgement and communicating with cross-functional teams.
  7. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  8. Working proficiency in Japanese to support market-specific requests amongst others (written and verbal communication).

Preferred Qualifications

  1. Demonstrate good analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  2. Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to adapt communication styles to suit different stakeholders, like cross-functional teams.
