Company Overview:
Our client is a leading Investment Management firm seeking an experienced Legal Counsel to join their esteemed team. Renowned for their broad remit and investment strategies, they are looking for a professional with exceptional M&A and corporate law expertise to enhance their corporate initiatives.

Role Overview:
Reporting directly to the General Counsel, this role is pivotal within our firm. The successful candidate will be responsible for steering M&A transactions, both on the buy side and sell side, and will significantly contribute to our corporate legal affairs.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and oversee M&A transactions across buy side and sell side, ensuring adherence to legal requirements and strategic alignment.
Offer expert legal counsel on corporate matters, including joint ventures, partnerships, and strategic alliances.
Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to navigate legal complexities and mitigate risks.
Conduct thorough due diligence and proficiently draft, review, and negotiate complex legal agreements and contracts.

Requirements:

5 to 10 years of post-qualification experience (PQE) with a strong focus on M&A and corporate law.
Proven track record in managing diverse M&A transactions across various industries.
Prior experience in an in-house legal role, particularly within private equity, is highly desirable.
Exceptional commercial acumen and the ability to thrive within a corporate environment.
Outstanding communication and negotiation skills.
