Legal Counsel (min 7 PQE), Corporate & Commercial – High Growth MNC

Company Overview:
Our client, a high-growth company with a global presence, is seeking a skilled Legal Counsel to join their established legal team. This newly created role will focus on corporate and commercial legal matters, offering a dynamic and challenging environment with opportunities for growth. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to support the company’s ongoing business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Provide legal advice on a wide range of corporate and commercial matters, including contracts, agreements, and business operations.
2. Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements, such as supply, distribution, partnership, and service contracts.
3. Advise on corporate governance, regulatory compliance, and general legal risk management.
4. Support M&A transactions, joint ventures, and other corporate restructuring activities.
5. Liaise with internal business units to ensure legal alignment with the company’s strategic objectives.
6. Manage external counsel as needed and ensure efficient legal processes.
7. Provide support on legal matters related to intellectual property, employment, and data protection when required.

Qualifications & Experience:

1. Minimum 7 PQE, with a preference for candidates with more experience.
2. Strong background in corporate and commercial law, with experience handling a variety of agreements and transactions.
3. Demonstrated ability to provide pragmatic legal advice in a fast-paced business environment.
4. Prior experience in a multinational or high-growth company is a plus.
5. Excellent communication, drafting, and negotiation skills.
6. Ability to work both independently and within a collaborative team.
