Legal Counsel, Debt Financing (min 5 PQE) – International Financial Services MNC

Key Responsibilities:

1. Provide legal advice and support on a broad range of debt financing transactions, including syndicated loans, structured finance, and other credit facilities.
2. Draft, review, and negotiate financing agreements and related documentation.
3. Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external counsel to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
4. Support the General Counsel in managing legal risks associated with global financial transactions.
5. Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and processes to enhance the legal function’s efficiency and effectiveness.

Qualifications and Experience:

1. Minimum of 5 years of post-qualification experience (PQE) in debt financing, gained from a reputable law firm or in-house legal team.
2. Strong understanding of financing structures, documentation, and market practices.
3. Proven ability to manage complex transactions and deliver pragmatic, business-oriented solutions.
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships across diverse teams.
5. Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of working both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
