Job description

We are excited to announce a newly created headcount for a Legal Counsel with our client’s APAC Headquarters in Singapore. This role offers a unique opportunity to join a leading entertainment multinational corporation currently in an expansive growth phase. As part of their dynamic legal team, you will report directly to the Head of Legal, APAC, and play a critical role in shaping the legal framework and policies across our operations.

Key Responsibilities

Provide legal counsel on a variety of corporate and commercial matters, ensuring compliance with local and international regulations.
Advise on day-to-day business operations and strategies, addressing legal issues as they arise.
Assist in transactional and corporate development matters, including mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, and other strategic initiatives.
Lead efforts in building out legal frameworks, policies, and procedures to support the company's growth and ensure best practices.
Work closely with various departments within the company to provide holistic legal support and facilitate business objectives.
Engage with legal counterparts in the US and Europe, providing a platform for regional and global collaboration and exposure.

Qualifications

LLB/Juris Doctor (JD) or equivalent legal qualification.
Bar Qualification(4 to 7 years PQE). Candidates from law firms in any practice group are welcome to apply. In-house experience is advantageous but not essential.
