Provide support to the company’s legal team and business in Singapore, particularly in the areas of human resource management, cross-border procurement, and online games-related compliance research.
Provide advice and structuring transactions, assessing legal risks, and minimizing the risk of potential disputes.
Monitor changes and developments in the legal and regulatory environment globally concerning the development, publishing, and distribution of games.
Coverage of standard legal matters such as negotiating, drafting, and reviewing contracts and commercial agreements, researching local laws and regulations, and managing external legal counsel when needed.
Perform general corporate and legal housekeeping tasks.
Support Legal Counsel (Global) in managing game-related compliance issues and other international projects.
What We Are Looking For:
Graduate of a recognized law school either in Singapore or any other common law jurisdiction and admitted as a member of the legal profession in Singapore.
3 – 5 years of related experience in the gaming and/or tech industry, preferably in a multinational corporation or a law firm with an international practice.
Familiarity with employment laws and cross-border commercial transactions is a plus.
Strong background in contract law, drafting, and negotiation.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in English; proficiency in basic conversational Mandarin (spoken and written) is preferred for communication with key business partners.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively, with the capability to communicate complex information in an accessible way.
