Job Responsibilities

• Providing general legal advice to the Company including providing legal advice to the Entertainment, Retail, Finance, Hotel operations and Procurement.
• Drafting, reviewing and negotiating contracts related to entertainment, events, sponsorships, marketing, collaborations, venue rental, artiste engagement and intellectual property licences.
• Drafting, reviewing and negotiating general commercial contracts including IT contracts.
• Providing legal support and advice on a wide range of business, strategic and operational issues involving the entertainment, communications, marketing, sponsorships and nightlife departments.
• Managing litigation on behalf of the Company and negotiating settlement of legal disputes.
• Conducting disciplinary related inquiries into breach of Company’s disciplinary policy.
• Creating legal training materials and conducting legal training for Company staff.

Job Requirements

Education & Certification: No formal education required.

Experience: Minimum 5 years PQE in construction law from a reputable mid to top tier law firm or a well-regarded in-house legal team.

Other Prerequisites:

• Experience in drafting and negotiating commercial agreements.
• Be a strong communicator and possess a commercially savvy approach to legal matters.
• Confident, possess initiative and have the ability to prioritize, multitask and work under pressure.
