As a member of the Olam Agri legal counsel team, your responsibilities will include managing various global projects across 30+ countries. These projects involve collaborating with other members of the global legal center of expertise (CoE) to build effective partnerships. The ideal candidate for this position should have broad exposure to diverse areas of law including M&A, the management of disputes, together with commercial contracts, data protection, sustainability/ESG/human rights/climate law, intellectual property, food law, finance and agri-business matters. An appetite to work across jurisdictions and cultures is a requirement as well as an ability to manage a diverse spectrum of stakeholders both internal as well as external counsel. This position will require an individual who is able to consistently exercise sound judgement related to allocation of risk while also having the ability to suggest legal/business-focused alternatives.
