Legal Counsel

Our client is a leading dry bulk shipping company seeking an experienced Legal Counsel to join their team in Singapore. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic organization at the forefront of international shipping.

The Legal Counsel will handle complex shipping disputes and provide strategic legal advice across the dry bulk operations. This position requires a combination of commercial acumen and expertise in maritime law.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of shipping dispute experience (law firm, P&I Club, or ship owner), with law degree and English/Common Law qualification
• Proven expertise in charterparty disputes, laytime/demurrage, and cargo claims
• Strong arbitration/mediation experience and knowledge of maritime regulations
• Commercial mindset with excellent negotiation skills
