About Us
Reporting to the APAC General Counsel, the Legal Counsel is responsible for supporting the legal function in Dyson APAC businesses in achieving their strategic plans. You will be responsible for providing a wide range of legal matters support including to the broader Group Legal and APAC Legal teams on regional and global matters.

This role is part of the broader APAC Legal team at Dyson and will be based in Singapore.

About the Role

• Manage legal requests and support in providing commercially focused legal services to the Dyson regional business teams
• Act as project manager and collaborate with teams to deliver global/regional legal projects and support implementation in region
• Supports the legal team in providing legal services and advice in a consistent manner to the Dyson APAC business
• Support and drive a wide range of regional project and matters including templatization of contracts related to retailers, supplier, services, commercial, influencer, leases and other contracts and preparation of the Dyson contracting framework
• Leads the management of global contract process and workflow and facilitate the process within the team and with stakeholders
• Supports agenda creation, organisation and planning of meetings and projects with teams and stakeholders
• Coordinates and supports provision of legal and compliance training to the business

About You

• At least 5 years PQE with a combination of private practice and in-house APAC/ SEA legal experience in a global company
• Demonstrated ability to provide strategic legal advice and providing workable solutions, whilst managing risk and working with the business to achieve effective outcomes
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Possess strong business acumen and project management skills
• Strong ability in interpreting and applying legislation, advising on and working with risk and governance frameworks, policies or procedures.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and able to deliver high quality outcomes quickly
• Strong attention to detail and highly organised with excellent time management skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
