Legal Consultant – Commodities & Trade Finance

We are now looking to expand our bench with an exceptional mid - senior level legal professional.

To join our hub, you need to demonstrate the following:

• Qualified lawyer with a strong academic background
• Top international law firm or equivalent in-house/secondment experience
• Flexible, communicative and adaptable
• Enthusiastic about embracing new work cultures
• Rapidly develop close, trusting relationships

As a legal consultant, you also need to possess:

• Minimum 8 years PQE in-house or within a law firm
• Experience in commodities trading, trade finance or mining industry
• Ability to review and advise on import and export credit lines / discounting arrangements, dealing with day-to-day queries in trading contracts and assisting with setting up trade finance structures
• Confidence to drop into a new team and hit the ground running
