Job description

What the role is:

This position is within the School of Humanities & Social Sciences.

What you will be working on:

Develop and conduct lessons for full-time diploma students and adult learners in the domain of applied psychology, behavioural sciences or life-skills, as well as carry out all relevant responsibilities related to the teaching role.
Be involved in applied research or consultancy projects in the domain of behavioural sciences to drive innovation across different domains. Candidate needs to engage with industry partners to craft out project scope and specifications, while implementing the applied research or consultancy projects.
Be involved in inter-disciplinary teams for projects and teaching. Must be able to collaborate and communicate with professionals from diverse disciplines or background.
Be attuned to the latest developments in the scientific literature of behavioural sciences and life-skills, particularly in its interdisciplinary applications.
Take on additional organizational duties as necessary (e.g., networking with industry partners, business development, committee work, etc).

What we are looking for:

Any relevant tertiary qualifications with a focus on behavioural sciences, such as behavioural economics, behavioural geography, anthropology, human factors, cognitive science, or cognitive/social/industrial & organization psychology.
Minimum two years of industry experience related to the applications of behavioural sciences.
Competencies in either quantitative or qualitative research methods and data analyses in behavioural sciences, and in applying behavioural science knowledge to real world projects.
Project management, effective communication and presentation skills to enable collaboration and engagement for projects. Candidate must be able to work in diverse and interdisciplinary teams.
Demonstrate professionalism, adaptability, and a willingness to invest in continuous learning and professional development.
