[What the role is]
This is a 2-year contract position as a Lecturer, Aerospace in the School of Engineering.
[What you will be working on]
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:
Involvement in developing curriculum, facilitating student learning, conducting assessments, and performing tasks for modules related to aerospace fundamentals, avionics workshop, and aircraft electrical and instrumentation systems for both Full-Time Diploma students and adult learners in the Part-Time programmes and Short Courses.
Undertake administrative tasks related to course management.
Spearhead and identify new opportunities and collaboration with industries.
Work on industry or consultancy projects to stay relevant in your profession.
Support student development in the area of education.
[What we are looking for]
Relevant qualification in Aerospace/Electronics/Electrical Engineering, with at least 5 years of relevant industry experience in aircraft electrical and instrumentation and avionics systems.
CAAS B2 licence would be an advantage.
Passionate about education and possess strong interest in nurturing, teaching, mentoring and interacting with students.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Self-driven, independent and possess readiness to work as a team.
