[What the role is]

This is a 2-year contract position as a Lecturer, Aerospace in the School of Engineering.

[What you will be working on]

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Involvement in developing curriculum, facilitating student learning, conducting assessments, and performing tasks for modules related to aerospace fundamentals, avionics workshop, and aircraft electrical and instrumentation systems for both Full-Time Diploma students and adult learners in the Part-Time programmes and Short Courses.

  • Undertake administrative tasks related to course management.

  • Spearhead and identify new opportunities and collaboration with industries.

  • Work on industry or consultancy projects to stay relevant in your profession.

  • Support student development in the area of education.

[What we are looking for]

  • Relevant qualification in Aerospace/Electronics/Electrical Engineering, with at least 5 years of relevant industry experience in aircraft electrical and instrumentation and avionics systems.

  • CAAS B2 licence would be an advantage.

  • Passionate about education and possess strong interest in nurturing, teaching, mentoring and interacting with students.

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Self-driven, independent and possess readiness to work as a team.
