Lead Structural Engineer - Temporary Works Design

Job Scope

• Lead the design and delivery of temporary works solutions, including formwork, falsework, and scaffolding systems
• Collaborate with project teams to develop innovative and cost-effective temporary works strategies
• Conduct structural analyses, prepare engineering drawings, and oversee the implementation of temporary works on site
• Ensure all temporary works designs comply with relevant regulations, codes, and safety standards
• Provide technical support and mentorship to junior engineers within the team
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of the company's temporary works design processes and standards

Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum 5 years of post-qualification experience in temporary works design, preferably in the construction or infrastructure sector
• Proven track record of leading the design and delivery of complex temporary works solutions
• Excellent technical skills in structural analysis, design, and detailing using relevant software
• Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Thorough understanding of relevant codes, regulations, and industry best practices
