Job description

Position Summary:

The Lead Sales Manager is responsible for increasing market share and revenues, developing, pursuing, and closing new sales opportunities related to the entire portfolio of products and services of Jet Aviation. As a representative of the global sales function, the job incumbent will be collaborating closely with Regional Operations and other global functions to ensure the cohesive Jet Aviation growth strategy is being executed. Extensive Aircraft Management sales experience is highly preferred for this role.

Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintains effective long-term relationships and a high level of satisfaction with key senior-level decision makers and influencers
  • Identify, develop, and typically close new sales opportunities
  • Create demand for the organization's products and services by raising their profile with customers
  • Coordinate sales visits efficiently with the respected sales members.
  • Ensure proper responds to RFQs. Provides quotes to customers and ensures necessary follow up to ensure effective project closing
  • Active participation in shows, conferences, etc.
  • Achieve revenue targets by increasing revenue spend per account
  • May conduct regular status and strategy meetings with the customer's senior management to understand their needs and link them to the organization's product/service strategies
  • Maintains in-depth knowledge of current and emerging customer related digital technology
  • Represent Jet Aviation as one company internally and externally with industry groups, regulatory bodies and the General Dynamics network

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or relevant technical qualification required, with other relevant advanced degree preferred
  • Minimum 5 years in an equivalent Sales role (preferably in aviation)
  • Significant experience in Sales
  • Profound industry and competitor knowledge
  • Fluent in English
  • Able to travel regularly at short notice
  • Excellent communications, customer service and people skills
  • Results driven – able to execute with high personal accountability
  • Strong initiative and self-direction
  • Customer focused – externally focused - strong market perspective
  • A high-energy, proactive self-starter with excellent communications skills.
