Lead Safety Coordinator
Job description
Responsibilities :
- Liaise closely with Project Managers on workplace safety, health and environmental issues to maintain a high level of safety at the sites.
- Oversee and lead the Safety team & subcontractors in the implementation of Company’s safety systems at sites.
- Monitor safety and health aspect of all projects and workers safe work practices.
- Carry out and review risk assessment and Safe Work Procedure for all projects and maintain high level of safety and housekeeping at site.
- Carry out safety orientations and to conduct daily tool box meeting.
- Plan, Administer and implement safety policy and safety procedures in compliance with local safety regulations.
- Discharge duties as relevant in the WSH Act, WSH (Workplace Safety and Health (Officers) Regulations and Environmental Public Health Act.
- Implement and maintain proper procedures of WSHE management, administrative and recording system.
- Conduct team/ individual WSHE inspections and produce relevant reports and follow-ups.
- Organize / conduct WSHE briefing/ training to all employees.
- Other tasks as assigned from time to time.
Requirements :
- ITE/Diploma Holder in Engineering.
- Min 2 years' experience as safety coordinator in construction site/solar energy.
- Posseses Advanced Certificate in Workplace Safety and Health.
- Familiar with Workplace Safety Regulations and Environmental Public Health Act.
- Class 2B/3 driving license with own vehicle
