Lead Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer - Gaming

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Lead Quality Assurance (QA) Engineerto join our fast-growing team. As a Lead QA, you will play a key role in ensuring that our gaming products are delivered with the highest level of quality, performance, and reliability. You will lead a QA team based in Vietnam and be responsible for coordinating remote testing efforts while ensuring that all projects meet high-quality standards. JOB DUTIES:

• Lead, mentor, and guide a remote QA team based in Vietnam, ensuring smooth collaboration and effective communication across different time zones.
• Design, develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for the product (both mobile (H5) and desktop).
• Collaborate with the product manager, project manager, developers, and designers to define and refine project requirements, ensuring thorough test coverage.
• Oversee manual and automated testing processes, and ensure proper documentation of all testing results.
• Conduct performance, load, and regression testing to ensure the scalability and stability of the product.
• Implement continuous improvement processes to increase test efficiency and coverage.
• Identify, track, and resolve software defects, collaborating with remote development teams to ensure timely issue resolution.
• Foster a culture of quality throughout the development life cycle and champion best practices in QA methodologies.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• 5+ years of experience in Quality Assurance, with at least 2 years in a lead role within the gaming industry.
• Experience with performance and load testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner)..
• Strong problem-solving skills, have the ability to prioritize and manage QA tasks.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and remotely with the overseas QA team.
• A keen eye for detail and a passion for quality.
• Comfortable working in a distributed environment and managing a remote team.
• Language proficiency: English and Mandarin is required to understand technical requirements; Vietnamese is an added advantage.

Desirable Skills:

• Experience in web browser and mobile gaming testing (Windows, Mac, Mobile (H5)).
• Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript, Java) for automation purposes.
• Knowledge of security testing in the gaming environment.
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
