Company Overview:
My client specialises in the design, construction, and management of state-of-the-art data facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Lead the design and development of HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning), cooling, and other mechanical systems, considering factors such as capacity, redundancy, energy efficiency, and scalability.
2. Manage all phases of mechanical engineering projects, from conception to completion, including budgeting, scheduling, resource allocation, and coordination with internal teams, external vendors, and contractors.
3. Provide technical expertise and guidance to a team of mechanical engineers, designers, and technicians, ensuring compliance with industry standards, codes, and best practices.
4. Continuously monitor and analyse the performance of mechanical systems, identifying opportunities for optimization, efficiency improvements, and cost savings.
5. Identify potential risks and challenges related to mechanical systems design and implementation, and develop mitigation strategies to ensure the reliability and resilience of operations.
6. Implement rigorous quality control measures to ensure that mechanical systems meet or exceed specifications, standards, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of [X] years of experience in mechanical engineering, with a focus on HVAC, cooling systems, and/or building services.
• Proven track record of leading successful mechanical engineering projects, preferably in the data center or mission-critical facilities industry.
• Strong technical proficiency in HVAC design software, AutoCAD, Revit, and other relevant engineering tools.
• In-depth knowledge of industry standards and codes, such as ASHRAE, NFPA, and ICC.
• Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver on time and within budget.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
