The role:
Design and teach lab and practice modules, mentor students, and collaborate with faculty on industry innovation projects.
Bring real-world industry perspectives into the curriculum, creating authentic learning environments that foster discovery and innovation.
Oversee centralized lab facilities, ensuring effective management, resource availability, and maintaining safety standards in collaboration with Technical Officers and other staff.
What we are looking for:
A degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field, with a Master’s, PhD, and/or relevant professional certifications being a plus.
Strong supervisory abilities and a passion for mentoring students in an academic setting.
Proven project leadership and significant industry experience in Chemical Process Technology.
Expertise with 15+ years in unit operations (e.g., Heat Exchangers, Distillation Columns, Reactors, Cooling Towers).
Practical knowledge of Quality Management Systems and Engineering standards (e.g., ISO9001, OSHA, BSI).
Proficient in Chemical Process Design software (e.g., HYSYS).
Skilled in analytical techniques (e.g., HPLC, GC-MS, LC-MS, ICP-OES, ICP-MS), particularly in biopharmaceutical analysis.
