Lead Enterprise Architect

The Lead Enterprise Architect is accountable for proactively and holistically leading enterprise responses to disruptive forces by identifying and analyzing the execution of change toward the desired business vision and targeted outcomes. The Lead Enterprise Architect is responsible for taking a practical approach to supporting the business, focusing on delivering signature-ready, actionable recommendations to business leaders to adjust policies and projects to achieve target business outcomes.

Experienced, practicing architect with in-depth experience in Java/JEE technologies. At least 18 - 22 years of experience in the IT industry with good knowledge in software development and architecture. Good knowledge of new frameworks and platform trends in the space of Cloud Computing, API Management, Microservices, and distributed systems (Incl. Kubernetes, Dockers, Kafka).

Senior D-level candidate with Enterprise Architecture experience who can offer solutions across the portfolio in consultation with clients. This is an overarching role that spans various engagements. This is going to be a long-term role, and the candidate should establish a very good connection with the customer, define roadmap/strategy, drive initiatives, and grow.

Skills Required

• Java/J2EE, Cloud - AWS/Azure/OCP/PCF/GCP, Micro Services, Spring Boot, API Management, Microservices, distributed systems, Kubernetes, Dockers, Kafka, DevOps/DevSecOps, Angular/React, RDBMS (Oracle, SQL), No SQL Databases (Mongo, Cassandra, Redis)

• Responsible for multiple technology capabilities to deliver across all business lines for Fortune 50 Banking and Financial Customers.
• Hands-on experience required to work on POCs and POTs across multiple technologies.
• Ensures various architecture principles are translated into solution architecture and then into engineering products/solutions for implementation.
• Ensures non-functional requirements such as performance and availability are designed and delivered.
• Work with the Customer Enterprise Architecture teams and CXO Teams for critical decisions regarding strategic investment in technology.
• Assess and evaluate emerging technology capabilities (like DevOps, Open Banking, API and Microservices, IoT, Robotics, VR/AR, Blockchain) for compatibility, scalability, and viability.
• Educate customers on technology trends and guide them in adopting these into their organization.
• Define a vision that traverses the technology stack from User-Experience / Customer-Experience, data-driven strategic analysis, and customer insights, to cloud provisioning and embedding digitally enabled scalable architecture.
• Any Cloud Certification.
• Ability to challenge the technology solutions provided by various vendors and in-house teams to propose an optimal solution.
• Optimize technology assets by consolidating existing applications and removing redundancies and cost savings.
• Ability to identify hotspots in the current application landscape and provide solutions to rectify.
• Able to solve complex, multi-dimensional problems and deal comfortably with abstraction/fuzzy problems resulting in a robust, highly-scalable, and well-architected solution.
• Ability to provide design direction on large multi-tiered/complex applications & participate in RFP/RFQ/proactive proposals - business development activities.
• Help teams deliver robust solutions consistently and guide engineering teams toward a common methodology/standardization.
• Ability to produce various design documents, such as Software Architecture documents, security architecture documents, and interface specifications.
• Ensure code design and its quality for applications across the portfolio & participate in code reviews, design reviews, architecture discussions & drive DevSecOps roll-out.
• Help customers in their technology roadmap, digital journey, and share industry views.
