Lead Engineer, QA

Their current focus includes offering innovative solutions in areas such as funds, credit, and structured products, with plans to expand in response to market needs. They operate two flagship platforms that provide comprehensive services for data management, tokenization, asset servicing, and fund settlement infrastructure.

In partnership with our client, we are exclusively searching for a dynamic Lead Engineer, QA. The Lead Engineer, QA will be instrumental in defining the overarching quality assurance strategy across their flagship platforms, focusing on funds, credit, and structured products. As the client advances into its next growth phase, following a major Series A investment, this role is critical to shaping quality standards, automation, and best practices across its products.

1. Drive QA Strategy & Planning: Shape and implement a robust, end-to-end QA framework across manual and automated testing domains.
2. Lead Automation Initiatives: Build and maintain test automation frameworks and drive adoption across regression, integration, and performance testing.
3. Execute and Report on Testing: Oversee comprehensive test plans, manage defect tracking, and provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
4. Mentor and Inspire: Lead a talented QA team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and alignment with business objectives.
5. Champion Continuous Improvement: Leverage the latest trends and emerging QA tools to maintain a high standard of testing excellence.

• Experience: 10+ years in engineering/software QA, with at least 5+ years leading QA automation within fast-paced, agile environments, ideally in fintech.
• Technical Expertise: Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Java, etc.), and experience with automation frameworks (Selenium, Cypress), CI/CD pipelines, and testing RESTful APIs.
• Leadership Acumen: A skilled mentor with the ability to drive quality improvements and communicate complex technical concepts effectively.
• Blockchain Experience: Knowledge of testing blockchain-based applications and familiarity with associated testing nuances.
