Lead Engineer - Process

Title:

Job Responsibilities:

• Lead process engineering and design, process configuration, and optimization studies.

• Perform process simulations; prepare process/utility flow diagrams, heat and material balance, and utility balance.

• Prepare piping and instrumentation diagrams.

• Prepare process equipment datasheets and instrument datasheets.

• Perform relief and blowdown studies, relief load scenario analysis, and flare network calculations.

• Perform process calculations for equipment sizing and line hydraulics.

• Prepare process design philosophies and operating guides.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor Degree in Chemical Engineering with a minimum of 20 years of experience.

• Experience in concept studies, FEED, and detailed design projects.

• Good experience in offshore oil and gas projects, particularly those adhering to Australian standards, as the facility will operate in Australian waters and must comply with certification requirements.

• Preference given to candidates with experience in ‘Normally Not Manned’ facilities.

• Proven leadership of process teams on hydrocarbon projects.

• In-depth understanding of process design, heat and material balance, and P&IDs.

• Knowledge of international codes and standards, software, and tools.
