Job Scope

1. Ensuring Quality Control for Raw Materials, In-Process, and Finished Products: Oversee the quality of incoming raw materials, in-process materials, and finished products to ensure they meet specific quality standards and specifications. Conduct inspections and tests at various stages of the production process to identify potential quality issues early.
2. Managing the Daily Operation of the QC Laboratory: Plan and manage the daily functions of the QC laboratory to ensure tests and inspections are conducted efficiently and effectively.
3. Coordinate Data Analysis for Trend and Continuous Improvement: Analyze test data to identify trends or patterns that may indicate areas for improvement in the production or testing processes. Use the data to inform decisions and drive continuous improvement efforts within the quality system.
4. Judging Product Acceptability Based on Specifications: Review test results and make decisions on whether the products meet the required specifications. Ensure that only products that meet all specifications are approved for release.
5. Evaluation, Review, and Disposition of Non-Conforming Products: Evaluate non-conforming products (those that don’t meet quality standards) and determine the appropriate actions for disposition. Work with other departments to implement corrective actions for any quality issues identified.

Requirement: Degree/Diploma in Science/Engineering. Minimum 3 years of working experience in QC/QA in the chemical industry.
