Laboratory Technician

Working Hours: Monday - Thursday (740am to 535pm), Friday (730am to 255pm)

Job Responsibilities:

• Conducts routine and non-routine specimen preparation, plating, and necessary testing in accordance with standard operating procedures.
• Meticulous and passionate about working in specimen preparation and testing.
• Backs up the Laboratory Specialist on chemical analysis and specimen testing.
• Performs ad-hoc duties as assigned from time to time as required.

Job Requirements:

• NITEC/Diploma in Chemical Engineering or equivalent.
• Knowledge and experience in surface finishing processes such as electroplating would be an added advantage.
• Able to handle and operate laboratory equipment.
• Knowledge in safe chemical handling.
