Laboratory Technician

Well Established Chemical Plant - MNC

Basic: $2000 - $2200 + Allowances + AWS + VB

Work Location: Jurong Island - Possess own Vehicle will be an advantage

12 hours rotating shift work

Knowledge of lab instruments like Ion Chromatographs, ICP-MS, ICP-OES, UV-Spectrophotometer, and Photometric-Titrator is advantageous

No Experience required, on-job training provided

Job Scope:

• Perform quality control tests on materials at incoming, intermediate, and final stages of production
• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot lab equipment and measurement devices
• Schedule and perform preventive maintenance and calibration tasks
• Monitor product conformity to meet delivery schedules
• Prepare analysis reports and certificates for customers
• Review and maintain standard operating procedures for ISO compliance
• Analyze data and investigate out-of-specification results
• Lead and implement continual improvement projects for the quality management system
• Ensure good laboratory practices and enforce safety protocols
• Manage procurement of reagents and lab consumables, maintaining proper inventory
• Evaluate test samples for investigations and development work
• Provide in-house training for staff and skills development
• Conduct internal quality audits to ensure ISO standards are met
• Collaborate on health and safety matters, ensuring proper safety practices are followed

Requirement:

• Diploma in Chemical Engineering, Chemical Process Technology
• Able to commit to rotating shift work will be an advantage
• No Experience required, on-job training provided
