Laboratory Technician

Overview

Element has an opportunity for a Laboratory Technician for sample preparation & testing. He/She also needs to assist chemist in laboratory testing, and on-site sampling (if required).

This role is based in Jalan Boon Lay, Singapore.

Responsibilities

1. Prepare chemical mixture and reagents
2. Treatment of wastewater at trade effluent plant to ensure discharge compliance
3. Clean and return laboratory glassware
4. Administrative dispatch, and filing & retrieval of documents
5. Assist in simple analysis involving processes such as filtering and drying

Skills / Qualifications

1. Diploma in Chemistry or equivalent
2. Ability to work in teams under pressure and a team player with initiative
3. Highly motivated, organized individual and possess good communication skills
4. Good attention to detail
5. Ability to work independently and adhere to deadlines
6. Knowledge & experience of testing equipment and operation is advantageous
