Position Overview

We are looking for a Laboratory Support Assistant to perform essential lab housekeeping, equipment maintenance, and administrative tasks to ensure smooth laboratory operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for cleaning, organizing, and maintaining lab supplies while adhering to safety and compliance guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

Laboratory Housekeeping & Equipment Maintenance

• Perform general lab housekeeping, including glassware washing and benchtop cleaning.
• Conduct routine cleaning of laboratory equipment such as fridges, freezers, incubators, water baths, and sonicators.
• Manage waste disposal and removal of expired reagents.
• Ensure proper restocking of laboratory consumables and reagents.

Goods Receipt & Inventory Management

• Receive and inspect deliveries of chemicals, reagents, and consumables.
• Store received items in designated locations while maintaining inventory accuracy.

Administrative & Documentation Support

• Maintain accurate records for file and logbook archiving.
• Handle requests for controlled copy SOPs and logbooks.
• Conduct weekly reconciliation checks on CIRF printed documents.

Required Qualifications

• Prior experience in a laboratory setting is an advantage but not mandatory.
• ITE/Diploma graduate in Science or related field.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to follow safety protocols and compliance guidelines.
• Basic understanding of laboratory equipment and inventory management.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
