Laboratory Biotechnologist

• Directly responsible for the laboratory processing and storage preparation of clients' umbilical cord blood units and cord tissue.
• Maintain the laboratory in a clean and organized condition.
• Generate clinical reports as required.
• Collaborate with the Laboratory Manager and Assistant Laboratory Manager to ensure smooth operations.

Requirements

• Degree in Biomedical Science or related disciplines with at least 2 years of experience in blood banks, tissue banks, testing, pathology, research, or commercial labs.
• Good aseptic technique; experience in tissue/plant culture and handling of liquid nitrogen will be an added advantage.
• Experience in maintaining quality records will be an added advantage.
• Strong sense of responsibility and a good team player.
• Able to work independently and without supervision.
• 5-days work-week including weekends and public holidays. Working hours: 9am to 6pm.
