Laboratory Assistant

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Laboratory Operator to join our team at Santoku BASF Pte. Ltd. in the Tuas West Region. As a Laboratory Operator, you will play a crucial role in supporting our manufacturing operations by conducting tests and analyses to ensure the highest quality standards are met. This is a full-time position that offers a competitive salary and excellent benefits.

What you'll be doing

• Routine analysis of raw material, product & process samples;
• Perform tests and in accordance with established methods;
• Ensure records and checklists are completed in accordance to procedures;
• Ensure data generated and uploaded are accurate and correct;
• Perform prompt housekeeping and upkeep of work area;
• Assistant to superiors in QC functions and projects

What we're looking for

• Nitec or equivalent in chemistry or related fields of study.
• 0 to 3 years of experience working as a Laboratory Operator or in a similar role.
• Proficient in the use of laboratory equipment and instrumentation, including basic Microsoft Office Skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining accurate records and following standard operating procedures
• Strong teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively
