Laboratory Assistant

Our laboratory is growing rapidly and we are currently seeking a full-time Laboratory Assistant to join our team. This position will work with a team to accomplish tasks and projects that are instrumental to the company’s success. Responsibilities

1. Inspect specimen samples, verify accuracy and quantity according to study protocol/laboratory manual;
2. Accession specimens into inventory system and perform data entry;
3. Prepare and coordinate all biological laboratory sample shipments for storage and shipments;
4. Order and follow up with vendors on reagents, preventive maintenance contracts;
5. Daily routine tasks and other necessary support to the Laboratory Technicians and Lab Director.

Qualifications

1. Minimum Diploma in any field;
2. At least 2 years of industry experience in a related similar position;
3. Team-worker and detail-oriented with good time management skills;
4. Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel;
5. 8:30am to 5:30pm to be worked over 5 days between Monday to Saturday (Saturdays being rotational). Able to work on public holidays.
