Laboratory Analyst (Multi Lab)

Job Responsibilities:

1. Conduct the testing of consumer/retail, food or environmental and health samples in accordance with international standards or in-house methods.

2. Assist in organizing and maintaining the day-to-day operation of the laboratory, participating in all technical functions in accordance with ISO 17025 standards.

3. Perform chemical laboratory testing activities, including testing on the bench.

4. Ensure that all equipment is qualified and maintained at scheduled intervals according to the procedure or method.

5. Conduct regular chemical and consumables inventory checks.

6. Maintain good housekeeping and a safe system of work.

7. Apply judgment and act according to SGS standards of ethics and integrity.

Requirements:

1. Minimum Nitec in Biology, Chemistry, or equivalent.

2. Entry-level candidates are welcome to apply.

3. Added advantage to have prior experience in a laboratory environment.

4. Able to maintain the highest quality standards at all times.

5. Able to maintain good turnaround time (TAT) and on-time delivery (OTD).

6. Able to work independently and coordinate several activities simultaneously.

7. Works well under pressure and challenges the status quo.
