Lab Technician, Thailand

PURPOSE: To support in all laboratory activities & preparation of sales & marketing material with the objective of meeting customers' requirements.

Responsibilities:

1. Conduct sampling, colour matching and spraying
2. Production run, costing, maintenance of lab and replenish office supplies
3. Work in air-conditioned laboratory, exposure to chemicals & machinery operations
4. Support in the functioning of laboratory
5. Shared Technical Manager, Technical Advisor, internal/external customer feedbacks
6. Conduct sampling, support technical processing colour matching and spraying
7. Timely supply of all samples
8. Support technical team in tanneries up to production runs at smaller accounts
9. Prepare formulation costing to present to customers
10. Timely supply of all costing
11. Prepare sales and promotional materials, i.e. roadshows & exhibitions
12. Responsible for general housekeeping of laboratory
13. Responsible for preventative maintenance of laboratory, including liaising with maintenance contractor

Requirements:

1. Technical Institution/Diploma/Degree in Science (Chemistry)
2. Minimum 2-3 years experience in spraying industry
3. Knowledge: Exposure to other spraying industry desirable but not essential
